Yasmin Khan
Born in London to a Pakistani father and an Iranian mother, Yasmin spent her childhood travelling back and forth to Iran, with long stretches of time spent on her grandparents鈥 rice farm on the shores of the Caspian Sea. In 2013, after suffering a debilitating burnout and having to step back from her human rights work, Yasmin switched careers and turned to food as a tool through which to share people鈥檚 stories.
She has worked as a presenter on 成人论坛 R4鈥檚 Food Programme and the CNN/Roads and Kingdoms series 鈥淭he Perfect Dish鈥 with Anthony Bourdain as well as making regular appearances on lifestyle shows such as Ch4鈥檚 10 O鈥檆lock Live, PBS鈥檚 Milk Street Kitchen and Ch4鈥檚 Sunday Brunch. She is the author of The Saffron Tales: Recipes From the Persian Kitchen.
