Banana and chocolate brownie pudding

This decadent pudding is a great way to use up leftover bananas. Leave out the rum if making with children.

Ingredients

For the rum and raisin sauce

For the banana chocolate brownie pudding

  • 100²µ/3½´Ç³ú unsalted butter, plus extra for greasing
  • 250g/9oz unrefined caster sugar (or any sugar you have)
  • 75²µ/2¾´Ç³ú golden syrup (or honey or maple syrup)
  • 275²µ/9¾´Ç³ú dark chocolate, minimum 70% cocoa solids, (or any chocolate you have) broken into small pieces
  • 4 free-range eggs
  • 2 or 3 very ripe bananas, mashed
  • 70²µ/2½´Ç³ú plain flour
