Irish coffee
Don't stir the cream into the coffee, but leave it on top so the drink looks like a glass of stout. For a change, you can use your favourite liqueur instead of whiskey.
Ingredients
- 2 good glugs of Irish whiskey
- 2 tsp demerara sugar
- enough hot strong coffee to fill the glasses
- 2 heaped tbsp whipped cream
Method
Warm two coffee glasses and add a glug of whiskey to each.
Stir in a teaspoon of sugar into each glass. Top up with coffee and stir well.
Float the whipped cream on top and serve.
