What's the band's history so far?

Formed in early 2003, the five menbers of See If It Flys have progressed from the local Burnley scene to 'the big city' with recent trips to Manchester and Newcastle. There are many many more gigs to come on our quest for mainstream success. This is just the beginning.

Style and influences?

Indi-Rock, and have been described as 'Snow Patrol with Guts'. Although none of us are really into Snow Patrol, we draw our influences from all across the musical spectrum. Whereas Chris listens to a mixture of Death Metal to Phil Collins, Matt is into his reggae, hip hop and rock. We enjoy creating music through experimentation of new sounds but without leaving too far the boundaries of mainstream music.

Best moment so far?

Our successes in Manchester and Newcastle. Taking 41 people to the Roadhouse the first time we played there, setting us up for Headline Slots amongst the Manchester music scene. We really do have the best fans in the world and are very lucky.

Worst/most embarrassing moment so far?

Gareth had the runs during a gig. No one knows what he had ate but he had some serious bowel movements that night, we created a special set list that allowed him to take a toilet break between songs. ROCK AND ROLL!!!!

What's your favourite song? Or which song do you wish you'd written?

Its a song our drummer wrote called Ms Cregg, although it wouldn't go down too well in the city. Amongst the local scene, we can't do a gig without playing it. And were sure that if you knew her and heard the song you would understand.

But on a serious note. Our current single is called 'blue lights' and is available to download from our website.

Anything else we should all know about?

We love all our fans that travel far and wide to see us. We'll buy anyone of them a beer anyday (so it's worth getting in with us!).
