I got my belly button pierced a week ago too didnt hurt at all not even sore one bit that was my 2nd time getting it done... I got my tounge pierced 3 days ago and it didnt hurt but now its really swollen but well worth it...i guess i am addicted to piercings... tatoos are not bad at all either even though they take a while...

I had my first tattoo when I was 15, My Belly button pierced when I was 12, Ive had about 15 piercings another to come next month, I now do gun piercings myself, on friends and family. Ive got 6 tattoos at 18 and planned a whole lot more, I design them for people and my boyfriends tattooed me 4 times and I tattooed him :) Its all good.

i think it's really really funny that every one posting on here is like 12. i'm 20. have my belly button, gauged ears for a 2, septum, and 4 tattoos. love them. i would be disgusted to see a 16 year old with more piercings and tattoos than myself. at my age i think i need to slow down. i agree, definitely a rush, and very addictive and remember kids, tattoo removal hurts more than getting it done.do yourself a favour... look at someone that's in their mid 50s with a tattoo done in their 20s.. chances are you can't even tell what it is any more. i love tattoos, but chose wisely.

Im a 20 year old female with 21 tattoos, and 2 mouth piercings (tongue and smiley) , lobes pierced and stretched, snug pierced and conch pierced.All of my piercing and 12 of my tattoos are on public view, and depite my appearance I have ahigh earning, responsible job. Even though I don't regret any of my bodily modifications (and indeed I have 3 more facial piercings planned within the next two weeks) I urge teenagers and anyone else for that matter to think carefully about the positioning on the body. EG - You will NOT get a job a teacher with tattoos on your face/neck or hands.Peace xxx

what ever people tell u DNT beleive it, gettin your tounge done dsnt hurt I have had it done twice now and the only time it really hurt was when eating and food would get caught between the bars. I am now gettin my labret pierced and gettin snake fangs in two weeks as for the tattoo that in 3 months cnt freakin wait!!!!

Anyone that get's there tounge pierced is cool. me and my friend went both and got our tounges pierced. It didn't hurt at all. although now if we was too take it out there would be a hole under my tounge and in the middle of my tounge where it got done. But we recommend anyone that gets there tounges pierced just relax stay calm and close your eyes it will be over in 3 seconds .. just bare it..and smile when it's done anyone piercing you get done is what you wanted so nothing to worry about it anything goes wrong thats when you see your piercer.. then if they don't know your dentist or someone will ... so get along fine and tounge piercings just can't eat after a week solids icecream and jello ok.. good luck .. too all who will get there tounge done

I've got over 30 tattoos and don't find them inhibiting. They're simply an art form. Not that keen on piercing though. Both my ears are pierced and that's OK. Had my tongue pierced but adverse problems developed. Wouldn't do it again.

I think they are great! I love the fact that people are not intergrated over peircings. I think the verity of peircings and tattoos make everyone unique with with the ones they have. I have my nose, lobes(3)times, both cartliages. I also have Spongebob Squarepants tattoed on my hip I am only 15 and i think that they sould reduce the age limit on getting peircings and tattoos!!!!!!! Peace....And....Love!!!!

Tongue Piercings are one of the most painful piercings you can get.Trust me, I just got mine done Saturday(2/2/08) and it still hurts pretty badly today(2/5/08). It's hard to eat anything that isn't practically liquid so I'm STARVING right now but am too afraid to eat because it hurts! Plus I'm scared to death that it'll get infected....Just think long and hard about it before you get too excited....

Tattoo's and Piercing's are deffintaly an art. |I have had various piercings. And the one that hurt the most i have to say is my hidden industrial... It also took about a year to heal! But no pain is no gain. Some piercings though like the toungue i found didn't hurt at all. but then it does depend on the person. Tattoo's on the other hand are very different to piercings. i found that it was quite an annoying pain which didn't hurt that much on the base of my spine but hurt like hell on the top of my foot. But don't let the pain make you not want to get anything done. i say if you want it go for it... Piercings are only about 3 seconds of pain when you get them done... Then after that is a bit like a throbbing sensation but you feel good about it. There wwill always be a smile on your face after a piercing or tattoo. I'm soon to be hopefuly training to become a piercer and maybe even a tattooist. there is alot into bveing a piercer though than meets the eye.

i always used to be very adamant that i would never have a tattoo ever! i had my first one in malta and i loved it, i had my second one done back at home and my 3rd one this year in a local, pretty new salon, i love all of my tattoos and have a story and a connection with all of them. piercings are different, i've loved them since i had my ears pierced at the age of 10, since then i've had 15 various piercings. i just love it!

I have had over 13 piercings and im only 15. i think piercings are good and it gets your adrenaline runnig, i love that feeling just before you get pierced.at the moment i have my ears x4 (with one strecth)top ear x1, tongue, lip, madonna, smiley, nose, wrist x2, belly and webbing.i have a different opinion on tattoos, i think they look really good but i think you need time to think properley about what you want scared on your body forever! most people picck the first thing they see just to show there tattoo off and then regret it laterr! xx

i think tattoos and piercings are soo awesome! im 16 and i already know what i want done. i want to have my eyebrow, tongue, helix, belly button, and a second whole in my ear. and eventually a tattoo of a cross. but i think over all everybody should get pierced and tattooed whatever they would like because its their body and people shouldnt jugde you...no matter what! so yea...thats what i think...and im really curious..does getting your tongue done hurt???

I have 4 tattoos - across my back, back of neck, right side of stomach and back on hip. I also have piercings - tragus, belly button, lip nose ears are stretched and top of ear. I dont think its shock value i think its more to do with individuality - all my tattoos are hidden so they are only for me, i think they are a wonderful feeling its like you can get things out and express yourself without being too intimate x

To me piercing and tattoos are everywhere now I have my ears pierced several times, my nose, my lip, tongue, navel, nipples all together 12 piercings and two tattoos so I'm for it but I think later in life I will mature more and let my holes close and reget my tattoos

i love piercings when i was 12 ig ot my belly button pierced a year after i pierced my own nose and still have it lokks great and i have pierced my septum twice and labret twice but didnt keep it in for more than a day cause i couldnt get the ring in. i just got my stomache pierced by my hip 2 days away its really bruised from the clamp the guy never pieced there before but w/e i like it and thats all that matters..and im 15 now and still want moree lol and tatoos. anywyas th epoint its cute and sexy on some people. some peopole over due it. why? to hide themselves. to be oringinal. or because they like it. who cares if u dont like it then dont get it its not ur body who cares. but i think its hot and it give u something to look forward too or like to play with or look at or show off. and i think there hot so yeahh

I Have A wide variety of body piercings, around 20 in total, 3 surface,3 oral, ears and the rest... and iwish people wouldnt keep saying how ugly they make people look.Not being big headed but im still a pretty girl, with a gorgeous boyfriend which proves it cant be that bad.i wish the younger generation would think carefully before getting pierced, as scars DO occur as i have a few myself, and these 12 year old children who say its unfair that there paents wont let them get there bellys pierced or whatever is ridiculous. I wouldnt let my daughter get piercings, becuase i am very aware of risks involved, and so are parents more so than there offspring.piercings can go wrong, far to many end up with deformities because they go to un-reputable studios, so kids, before embarking on your rebellious, ''lets annoy my parents'' stage, think about what your doing...besides you have many years when you grow up in which you can get pierced.

hey this for the person below...alot can go wrong with tongue piercings (im not trying to put you off though) if you dont have an experienced piercist then the needle they use, may catch an artery that you have in your tongue also you should check to see if the blood vessels in your tongue are crossed as the piercing would have to be put in at an angle and you may not want that. the mouth is filled with bacteria so it can get infected quite easily but on the other hand it heals in about 2 weeks so if you look after it well during that time and after it should be fine. finally chose your piercist carefully make sure they wear gloves and wash their hands and also wear a white apron. the studio should be very clean. i am not sure if they are allowed to give you anaesectic but i am almost definatly sure they should give you antispectic. well thats all i think i went on for quite a long time. anyways.have fun, stay safe. love Korrie xx
