Kasabian are four lads from Leicester who rocketed to fame back in 2004, with singles such as 'Reason for Treason' and 'Clubfoot', and their debut-album, 'Kasabian'.

Since then they've enjoyed success all over the world, and been compared to Primal Scream for their alternative indie-rock style, and Oasis for their roguish confidence.

But what's coming next for the lads who've already performed at most of the biggest British festivals?听

成人论坛 Leicester's Katharine Sutton had a chat with lead singer, Tom Meighan, to find out鈥nd listen carefully to hear the other band members watching the football in the background!

Kasabian's second album, 'Empire', is going to be released on 28 August 2006 and Tom says it鈥檚 a more mature sound for the band:

"It's a better record than the first鈥e sound a little bit more grown-up and it's got a little bit more of a heartbeat to it and a little bit more of a live feel to it than our first."

Their most recent single, also called 'Empire', is taken from the new album and charted at number nine.

In the coming months the band is back on the road again, but will they be playing back on their home patch in Leicester?

Apparently we'll have to wait a while to find out鈥ut if you're a Leicester City fan keep your eyes open - when the boys do come home you're likely to find them down at the Walkers Stadium supporting their team.
