Adam Thomas started performing professionally at the age of 17, and is still pursuing his dream job a decade later.

Originally from Wigston, corporate singer Adam has returned to his roots after spells abroad.

All aboard!

He experienced life aboard cruise ships for six months, but struggled to find his sea legs and felt a bit trapped by the confines of living and working in the same place.

Following this he worked with a production company in Cyprus and Spain providing evening entertainment for holiday-makers.

Now Adam is excited to be back in Leicester and looking forward to performing locally, "It's my home at the end of it."

Adam performs regularly at a range of different corporate events; for the last four years this has included being the official Christmas entertainer at Leicester Tigers' events.

The wedding singer

His increasing popularity has allowed him to become more selective about where he sings:

"I don't just take any gig, I have to try and take gigs that will help me move forward a little bit - or nice gigs.

Adam is very secretive about amusing events he's witness at weddings, feeling very loyal to his clients.

He will only comment briefly with humour on drunken guests, "it wouldn't be a wedding without them would it?"

The future

The Leicester singer enjoys all kinds of music, but swing holds a particularly large part of his heart.

He feels very lucky to be in the entertainment business and always aims to be the best he can be:

"It could be that I'm doing what I do now for the rest of my life - if it is then I'm happy with that, that'll do me. But I've come back to see how far we can go and see what we can do."
