Kirby Muxloe Castle

Castle moat
Cross the moat if you dare and enter Kirby Muxloe Castle.

Gatehouse
Over the moat bridge is the main entrance to the castle with it's huge wooden doors.

Main living room
The first floor of the gatehouse was most certainly intended to be the main living room or salon.

Castle grounds
From the castle grounds you can see all the remaining structures and some of the old foundations.

West tower
The West tower was the only part of the castle to be completed and is the best preserved part today.

Spin around the spiral staircase in the West tower of the castle.
