Trains cancelled after tree damages overhead lines

Train services across West Yorkshire were cancelled due to damage to overhead lines.
Northern said services between Shipley and Skipton were disrupted in both directions, which affected commuters journeying to and from Leeds and Bradford this morning.
A Northern spokesperson said a fallen tree had damaged the overhead wires near Keighley.
"Network Rail have removed the tree but have discovered that the damaged caused to the overhead lines is worse than previously thought," they added.
The spokesperson said a rail replacement service was provided for customers and the line had reopened as of Friday afternoon.
