Police say abandoned baby's death was not suspicious
Police investigating the death of an abandoned newborn baby have said there were no suspicious circumstances.
Officers were called on 9 December to a property in Norwich Road, Ipswich, where the baby had been found.
Paramedics were called but the baby was declared deceased a short time later.
A Home Office post-mortem examination was inconclusive, but further tests gave a cause of death as stillbirth, with no criminal offences to pursue.
Suffolk Police said two men who had been arrested were released from police bail and would now face no further action.
A teenage female also arrested and under investigation would face no further action.
The force said the case had now concluded.
