Motorway reopens after vulnerable person concern
A stretch of motorway has been reopened after it was closed for several hours when police officers became concerned for a vulnerable person.
On Wednesday at 05:18 BST Bedfordshire Police that the M1 northbound was closed between junctions 11 for Dunstable and 12 for Toddington due to a concern for somebody's welfare close to the slip road for junction 11A.
Police warned it would remain closed while the incident was ongoing.
Drivers had been told to avoid the area but the road has now been reopened, according to National Highways.
