Snake Pass roadworks to stay in place all summer

Roadworks will remain in place along a key route through the Peak District throughout the summer.
Temporary lights went up along the A57 Snake Pass in Derbyshire last week, on the westbound side of the road, restricting the road to one lane.
The surface of the road at Gillott Hey has become damaged by the land moving beneath it.
Highways authority Derbyshire County Council says the road, connecting Sheffield and Manchester, will need to have roadworks in place ahead of a full closure in the autumn.
The council has apologised for delays the works may cause.
A spokesperson for Derbyshire County Council said: "Over the next few months we need to do some monitoring and investigatory works to understand how much the land is moving at the site before we carry out any resurfacing repairs.
鈥淎s the repairs will also likely mean a road closure, we鈥檙e planning these for the autumn to try to avoid any other works in the area.鈥
