Teenager arrested on suspicion of attempted murder

An 18-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following a suspected stabbing in Kent which left a 17-year-old boy in a "serious but stable" condition in hospital.
Kent Police said it responded to reports of fighting in Bargrove Road, Maidstone, at about 21:30 BST on Sunday.
The 18-year-old was released on bail pending further inquiries.
Two other 18-year-olds were also charged with violent disorder and possession of an offensive weapon.
Derrick Okoh, of Brown Street, Gillingham, was charged with having a glass bottle, and Ezekiel Barnes-Naseno, of Abbey Drive, Dartford, was charged with having a knife.
Both men were due to appear at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, Kent Police said.
An 18-year-old woman from London was also arrested on suspicion of assisting offenders and was released on bail pending further inquiries.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
