Four arrests and man in hospital after hit and run
A 77-year-old man has been airlifted to hospital with serious injuries after being involved in a hit and run.
He was hit on Kingsley Avenue in Rhyl, Denbighshire, at about 08:20 BST on Saturday by a silver Ford Focus which, after initially stopping, fled the scene.
The car was later found parked outside a property on the town's Marsh Road.
Three men and a woman, who were inside the property, were arrested on suspicion of driving offences.
Det Ch Insp Andy Gibson of North Wales Police said: "The pedestrian is in a stable condition, however, he has sustained significant injuries."
He added that officers were trying to track down anyone who had seen a 57-plate silver Ford Focus being driven before or after the crash.
