Woman hit by car suffers 'life-threatening' injuries
A woman who was hit by a car on the A93 in Aberdeenshire has been left with "life-threatening" injuries, according to police.
The crash happened on the Aberdeen to Banchory road near Milton of Crathes at about 19:20 on Sunday.
The 52-year-old was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. The 23-year-old female driver of the white Renault Twingo was uninjured.
The road was closed for more than five hours to allow for an investigation at the scene. Police Scotland has urged any witnesses to contact the .
