Three inciting racial hatred arrests amid riots

Three people have been arrested on suspicion of stirring up racial hatred.
A 27-year-old man from Penarth, Vale of Glamorgan, and a 33-year-old woman and 39-year-old man, both from Blaengwynfi, Neath Port Talbot, have all been bailed pending further inquiries.
All three were arrested on suspicion of displaying threatening, abusive or insulting written material with intent or likely to stir up racial hatred.
The arrests come after dozens of people have started to appear in court over their roles in the recent riots.
More than 700 people have been arrested so far in connection with unrest in parts of the UK over the past two weeks.
Riots broke out following the deaths of three children at a Taylor Swift-themed dance class in Southport last month and misinformation spread online about the background of the suspect.
He will next appear at Liverpool Crown Court on 25 October for a pre-trial preparation hearing.
