Fire damages barn with Christmas trees and wreaths

Firefighters have been tackling a blaze at a large barn containing Christmas trees and wreaths.

North Wales Fire and Rescue Service said it was called to the blaze at Llanfair Talhaiarn, near Abergele in Conwy county in the early hours on Monday.

The blaze lasted more than six hours, a spokesperson said, with five pumps at the scene.

An investigation will take place into the cause.
