A man is due to go on trial charged with attempted murder following a shooting in a Lincolnshire village.
A man in his 30s suffered "life-changing" injuries after being hit in the leg by shotgun pellets in Little Steeping on 25 May, police said.
Michael Watling, 37, of Guard House Avenue, Keighley, was later charged with attempted murder.
Appearing at Lincoln Crown Court on Tuesday, he entered a not guilty plea and a trial date was set for 11 November.
Judge Simon Hirst adjourned the case and Mr Watling was remanded back into custody until his trial, which is expected to last five days.
Lincolnshire Police said three men, aged 33, 36 and 37, arrested in connection with the incident had all been released on bail while investigations continued.
