Drivers warned of overnight motorway closures
- Published
Motorists have been advised to allow more time for their journeys due to a fortnight of overnight closures on the A1(M).
National Highways said sections of the motorway near Wetherby were set to be resurfaced in both directions between junctions 45 and 46.
Work on the northbound carriageway would begin on Monday and run until Saturday morning, it said.
Resurfacing on the southbound carriageway would then take place from 17 June.
The two weeks of closures would run between 20:00 BST and 06:00 the next day.
Drivers have been told to follow signposted diversions during these hours.
