A fire that spread over hundreds of metres of a cliff face was caused by fireworks being let off.
Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service said they were called to the incident near Lindsway Bay in St Ishmael's, Pembrokeshire, just after 22:00 GMT on Thursday.
"The fire was caused by fireworks that had been set off along a section of the Wales Coast Path," it said, adding that the crew left the scene at just before 02:00 on Friday.
The fire service noted that it was illegal to set off fireworks, including sparklers, in a public place, urging people to attend organised fireworks displays.
It added that the fire covered approximately 180 metres of cliff face and that the coastal cliffs, which are rich in biodiversity, had been damaged by the fire.
Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service also shared advice on fireworks safety on Bonfire Night, which falls on 5 November, as well as Halloween.
This included being aware of the dangers associated with fire and Halloween costumes, and considering candle alternatives, such as flameless battle-operated candles, to create "spooky" effects.
It also urged people to ensure fireworks are stored away from children, and to only buy from reputable retailers and follow instructions.
