Six people in hospital after three crashes on M5
Eight vehicles including a coach have collided in three separate crashes on the M5 in Somerset.
Six people have been taken to hospital as a result.
The vehicles collided at about 10:15 GMT on a stretch of motorway between junctions 21 and 22, police said.
Traffic on the northbound carriageway was stopped briefly to give the air ambulance access and drivers were advised to avoid the area while the congestion slowly eased.
National Highways tweeted to say that all lanes had reopened by 14:15.
