The death of a woman at a house in Dorset is no longer being treated as suspicious after post-mortem tests revealed no-one else was involved.

Paramedics alerted police to the "unexpected" death of a woman in her 50s in West Walls, Wareham, on Wednesday.

A 23-year-old man known to the woman was arrested on suspicion of murder but has now been released without charge.

Police said the cause of death had not yet been confirmed.

Detectives said a post-mortem examination was carried out on Friday and it had been established there was "no third-party involvement" in the woman's death which was "no longer being treated as suspicious".

The woman's family has been informed.
