Man accused of Telford murder and attempted murder

A man has been charged with murder and attempted murder after a woman was found dead at a house in Telford.

Claire Orrey, 58, was found with fatal injuries on 30 July, at a house in Burnell Road, Admaston, where a man was also found with serious injuries.

Robert Orrey, 31, has been charged with Ms Orrey's murder and the attempted murder of the man.

Mr Orrey, of Burnell Road, Admaston, is due to appear at Kidderminster Magistrates' Court on Thursday.

Ms Orrey's daughter said her mother was "wonderful" and she "lit up our world with love".
