Man charged with attempted murder over Coatbridge shooting
A man has been charged with attempted murder in connection with a shooting in North Lanarkshire.
James McAulay, 29, is also accused of being in possession of a firearm while being arrested and being in breach of bail conditions.
A red Seat Leon was shot at in the incident on Marnoch Drive in Glenboig on 21 November.
Mr McAulay made no plea during his appearance at Airdrie Sheriff Court and was remanded in custody.
Steven McAulay, 53, also appeared and was charged with attempting to pervert the course of justice.
He also made no plea and was remanded in custody.
