B974 road re-opens after sudden death of man in Aberdeenshire

The B974 Old Military Road was blocked on Wednesday afternoon
Police closed a rural road in Aberdeenshire after the sudden death of a man in the area.
The B974 Old Military Road, which runs from Fettercairn over Cairn O'Mount to Banchory, was closed on Wednesday afternoon.
An ambulance and police were sent to the scene.
Police said on Thursday that a 63-year-old man had died, but that there did not appear to be any suspicious circumstances. Inquiries are ongoing.
The alarm had been raised at about 14:.45 on Wednesday, and the road re-opened at about 20:15.
