A man has died in an industrial accident at a property in the Scottish Borders.

Police Scotland said that emergency services had been sent to the incident at Dean Park in Peebles at about 12:55.

The force said a 59-year-old man had died at the scene of the accident and the Health and Safety Executive had been made aware.

In a short statement, it added that a report would be submitted to the procurator fiscal.
