Penrhiwceiber crash leaves cyclist with life-threatening injuries

An 18-year-old cyclist is in hospital with life-threatening injuries after a crash with a car.
South Wales Police said the collision between the bike and a Honda Civic happened at about 07:45 GMT on Tuesday on Abercynon Road in Penrhiwceiber, Rhondda Cynon Taf.
The cyclist, from Mountain Ash, was taken to University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff by ambulance.
Police are investigating the cause of the collision.
