The station has been given exclusive rights to broadcast 10 songs from the concert after the lights have gone down. The transmission of the concert's best moments will sign off 成人论坛 Radio Norfolk's broadcast from Carrow Road. Presenter Graham Barnard will host a two-hour radio show from the stadium in the lead-up to the gig from 1600 BST. Songs from the Norfolk top 20 of Elton's hits, voted for by the station's listeners and Eastern Daily Press readers, will be played and Lulu will pop in for a chat before her warm-up slot. Music lovers in Norwich can also enjoy a set from one of the country's best-selling singers, Lulu. The Scottish singing sensation will warm-up the crowd with a 45-minute performance before Elton's show-stopping entrance. It will be her second trip to the city in less than a year, following on from her headline show at the Theatre Royal in October. The pair have worked together previously when they recorded a duet for Lulu's album in 2002. UK tour Elton picked the Carrow Road ground for the third date of his UK tour to promote his latest album, Peachtree Road. But he is also expected to rattle out his classics like Your Song, Daniel and Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word as well as Candle In The Wind which was voted Norfolk's top Elton John song in 成人论坛 Radio Norfolk's poll. Gig timetable The gates to the ground will open at 4pm and fans will have to take their seats by 5.30pm. Lulu is due to start her set at 6.10pm and Elton is expected to hit the stage at 7.25pm and round off his show at 9.45pm. Organisers are advising people to allow plenty of time for their journey and parking. There are a limited number of parking bays at Carrow Road but these need to be booked in advance. Organisers "delighted" Andrew Cullen of Norwich City Football Club is delighted they've pulled off the concert, called Hello, Yellow Brick Road. "We are delighted to welcome Elton John to Carrow Road," he said. "It is the first concert held here for many years and we hope that Hello, Yellow Brick Road will be the springboard for Carrow Road to host major concerts for many years to come. "We are very fortunate to have secured the services of this premier league entertainer," he added. Stadium tour Ben Martin, from promoter Marshall Arts, said it was Elton's idea to play in football clubs for his UK tour. "Elton has a number of different concepts on where he wants to play and this year he's decided he wants to play football clubs," he said. "Carrow Road is not a place that many bands come to and it's an excellent opportunity for Elton to come and play for the people. "You never know quite what you're going to get, but certainly working with one of the world's most loved and appreciated artists has its up sides and we get to play some amazing places with Elton," he added. The often outlandishly dressed star will kick off Norfolk's string of outdoor gigs this year which will star Meatloaf, Jools Holland, Will Young, Status Quo, Beautiful South, Daniel Bedingfield, Madness and Ian Brown.
