More than 20 years on, he's still turning up on set.
Michael Bailey in the film Revolution "The biggest film I worked was Revolution with Al Pacino. I was his understudy. He was a really lovely person to work with as well. People on set often mistook us for each other," said Michael Bailey. "At one point in the film he'd gone off so they asked me to do a long shot as him with Natasha Kinski, which was great. "Four months doing that sort of work was just brilliant. I didn't do anything else, didn't see any TV, read any papers. I didn't know what was going on in the outside world, the film set was my world and that was the one I was happiest in. "It is a difficult way of earning a living but, I've got this determination in me and I keep on going and hope that one day, I'll get there in the end. Michael Bailey with Annie Lennox "I'm half-way up that ladder now. I recently did a character part (in ITV's Kingdom) which was lovely - I was a wizz driver - and I've come away thinking 'yes, that's lovely and I'm getting there, I'm going to do it and I won't stop'. "I hope to score my goal one day, so I keep pushing at it. I've been taken on by more agencies and I'm now getting bit parts with lines. "Recently I was a double for Andrew Lincoln in Afterlife.ÌýI've done Doctor Who (I was a monster) and Casualty and (currently) Coronation Street. "I hope one day I will make it, and I'll keep going until I reach my goal - which is when I see my name in lights!" ended Michael Bailey.
