The Story

At 14 years of age Ernest was no different from any other teenager. Trying to make his mark and to fit in with his peers he went to the ‘66th Belfast Boys Brigade’ and asked if he could take part in the upcoming parade. Ready for the challenge Ernest was unaware of exactly what awaited him on this gusty morning in 1943…
