Captain Dangerous band members Miles, Adam, Mark and Ricky, have been playing music together for around two years.

In that time they've had a number of successes including winning the right to play at the Market Square re-opening celebrations and appearing on 成人论坛 6 Music.

The band say they're talking to people about getting signed to a record label, but in the meantime...

"We just want to make sure we're being productive. There's no reason why we can't do an album ourselves. It's good fun." Says Miles.

When can we expect the album?

"I don't want to mess around. I don't want to rush it. I want to get on with it and really put lots of effort into it.

"Ideally I'd like to get it finished within a month and start producing some copies."

The moment when a band meet and start a band can be one of those culturally significant moments, think of McCartney and Lennon's meeting at Woolton Garden F锚te in 1957.

Whilst Miles and Adam met at university, and Ricky and Miles worked together; Adam and Mark's story is less harmonious. Adam explains:

"Mark and me are old friends. He used to bully me on my paper round. He used to spit on me and throw Mars bars and call me names regarding my hair."

Mark denies the story but they're all good friends now.
