For one day only schoolchildren from across the county will be 'leading the news'. Eleven schools are taking part in 成人论坛 News School Report - an annual event - on Thursday 26 March. The aim is to get young people interested in the news and give them the chance to set the news agenda for the day. Interviewing Cllr Graham Chapman On TVSeven students from Top Valley School and Engineering College, aged 11-13 have been working with mentors from 成人论坛 East Midlands to become journalists, cameraman and editors. The 成人论坛 has put them through their paces - screen testing them in the 成人论坛 TV studios in Nottingham, giving them the chance to try out weather presenting and taking them out into city to talk to people on the streets. On Thursday 26 March two students will be presenting part of East Midlands Today and the students' films will also feature in the programme:
On radioYear 8 pupils at the Joseph Whitaker School will be reporting for 成人论坛 Radio Nottingham. The Nottinghamshire schoolchildren have been practising with the latest digital equipment and will make a series of audio reports to be broadcast on the day.
