The graduating
students put on the show themselves this year after funding was
withdrawn by the university, but the event was still a
high-energy affair.
A total of 43
students put their fashions to the test on the catwalk, with designs
ranging from children's wear to lingerie to women's evening gowns.

One of
the models in a lovely design |
One designer
used an animal theme, adding a pair of antlers to the back of one
costume and feathers to the edge of another.
Student organiser
Kim Norrington, who showed her own designs which are based on Japanese
origami, said the students all have different sources of inspiration.
The show is
the pinnacle of the year for most students, and will lead to an
appearance in London at the Graduate Fashion Week for some.
That show runs
in early June and will feature some of the designs from the Nottingham
students' collection.
