Flare: Platform's
first ever fashion supplement

Here we display
pictures from Flare. It represents the first ever fashion section
to appear in Platform student newspaper.
Flare was created by the editor Ben Whitehead, after teaming up with
two NTU fashion students - stylist Niccy Shiel and photographer Mark
Pattenden.
The aim was to try and provide recognition and exposure to the wealth
of talent that exists within Nottingham Trent’s internationally
acclaimed fashion courses.

always been my aim to try and launch a fashion supplement. I was always
hearing about Trent fashion students picking up awards, so it is great
to give all the talent that exists within the fashion faculties a
platform to expose theIr talent and hard work" Ben Whitehead
As well as promoting
fashion designers, Flare introduces you to the best new talent in
fashion journalism, photography and styling at Nottingham Trent
University.
