A Nottingham
man is ready to start a world motorcycle challenge.
Recently retired,
John Baggaley will compete with 20 others.
They plan to encircle the globe within 95 days.
John and the
other riders set out on the 8th July from Wembley, London.
At present they
are in New York, and on the 6th August, the adventure will begin
through the expedition's route across
the planet.
The Motorcycle World Challenge will be a trial of huge endurance,
requiring riding agility, mental stamina and team spirit. It will
take the participants through the most challenging riding territory
known to man.

Objective

the organiser of the challenge explains the the objectives:
- Riders,
positioned in teams of two or three, will compete in a series
of staged legs within 95 days, circling the globe.
- The
route, a circumnavigation of the world, which will involve
four continents, seven deserts, four mountain chains and
approximately 22 countries.
- The
total journey will cover between 18-25,000 miles.
- Teams
of riders will line up at each daily stage start location.
- Flagged
away by ride officials at short timed intervals, each team
will ride via pre-determined checkpoints and then proceed
to a daily end destination.
- Photographs
taken at each check point site will be presented as proof
to the judges and daily points accumulated will give an
eventual around the world winning team.

foods: All Foods I will eat all most anything, but a real
favourite is steak tartare specially if it is made with chervil,
although I would not chance riding a motorbike a long distance
after this meal. |

for riding the challenge: Why the Challenge? That鈥檚 it,
the Challenge! Also the different countries and cultures and
people to meet and an experience to last the rest of my life. |

& Dislikes: I like people with positive attitudes. I dislike
people with negative attitudes. And punctures they are a real
pain. |
