to progress to the next phase.
We asked Mahir, Umit
and Mehmet at the Antalya
restaurant in Nottingham, how they think Turkey will do.

is Turkey preparing for the World Cup? |
| Turkey
are preparing very well for their 2nd world cup. It's all going
to plan. They beat Chile 2-0 recently and we have a very good
young manager. |

do you think Turkey will do in the World Cup? |
| We will
get to the 2nd phase, Brazil are not playing well so who knows.

is Turkey's best player and why? |
| Hakan Sukar
is our best player, he is Turkey's Alan Shearer, a great goalscorer.
Emre Belozoglu is also good, he's a hardworking midfielder just
like Archie Gemmil. |

do you think to the England side? |
| England
have a very good chance, but have a hard group, they've got
to get a good result against Argentina. I'd love to see England
win the World Cup like 1966. |
