11.30am - 3.30pm The Family Fiesta!
The Festival Enclosure
This enormously popular element of the Festival returns, presented
for the first time by C成人论坛's Adrian Dickson. Another packed programme
includes performances by fabulous physical comedians, Men in Coats,
The Peatbog Faeries, Union Dance, comedian James Campbell with his
Comedy for Kids, plus the exquisitely beautiful aerial show that is
The Candle. The Fiesta! also features Bournemouth Symphonic Brass,
and The Magnets, the extraordinary a capella outfit that has been
central to the Festival's SHOUT! Programme in Henley schools. Their
performance will include a specially created new work by composer
Barry Russell for The Magnets and 100+ school children from the Henley
area. Also including appearances by the Festival's Resident Company
and the most extensive workshop and participatory programme yet, in
association with the River and Rowing Museum.
EVENING
The Sunday evening adds an additional hour to become a full festival
evening including The Big Bop on the Floating Stage, and events in
The Dome, The Towpath Marquee and The Riverside Restaurant - newly
converted for late night cabaret. Plus, of course, the Resident Company
and a first Sunday night appearance by the Trinity College Swing Band.

7.00pm The Magnets
Floating Stage
The astonishing a capella sextet, complete with the phenomenon that
is vocal percussionist Andy Frost. As charismatic, sexy and 'of the
minute' as any boy band but with every sound created vocally. The
Magnets have been heavily involved in the Henley Festival's year round
schools' SHOUT! programme VoiceWorks.
7.30pm Bournemouth Symphonic Brass
The Dome
A top ensemble from the Henley Festival's new Orchestra in Association
show their versatility with a highly varied programme of music for
brass instruments.
8.45pm The Big Bop with Tony Hadley
Floating Stage
The former Spandau Ballet man knows how to get a crowd rocking.
One of the great voices of recent years, the charismatic Tony Hadley
- winner last year of television's Reborn in the USA - and band
lead the Henley crowd through 75 minutes of musical delirium. The
lawn will once again be cleared to allow maximum dancing space.
10.10pm The Candle
Riverside Lawn
A beautiful and elegant aerial show performed within a giant Perspex
Candle. From the creators of The Heliosphere.
10.30pm Comedy Triple Bill -
Men in Coats, Marcus Brigstocke and Alex Horne Riverside Restaurant
A fast, and fabulously funny finale to the 2004 Festival cabaret
in the specially adapted Riverside Restaurant. This heavy weight
triple bill of comedy is headlined by the fantastic visual comedy
of Men in Coats, a totally original comedy experience and one of
the funniest shows around, a recent hit at both the Edinburgh Fringe
and the Royal Variety Show. Also featuring star of 成人论坛 2's We are
history, Marcus Brigstocke, and major hit at Edinburgh in 2003,
Alex Horne. After the bop relax with a beer and a belly full of
quality laughs. The Riverside Restaurant will have a cabaret style
setting with bar service.
10.30pm Festival Chill Out with Pendle
Poucher The Dome
Famous for his Lap-top ensemble, contemporary, ambient music composer
Pendle Poucher. settles everything down for the last hour of the
Festival. Truly serene electronica overlaid with many of the sounds
of Henley Festival. A great preparation for the year ahead, let
alone the coming Monday morning聟.
Visual Arts: Janicke Ebbing - Norwegian multi-media artists in a brand
new show specially created for the Henley Festival Ian Newbery - Large scale stone sculptures by Swedish artist.
First ever appearance in the UK Wit and Whimsy - large scale sculptures around the Festival
Enclosure Tentacles - the River Thames becomes a temporary home for
Emily Bellhouse's beautiful living glass 'tentacles' Lorraine Gill - haunting large scale paintings inspired by
Australian aboriginal images Barn Galleries - mixed media work co-curated with Bridget
Fraser's Barn Galleries.
