Friends
of Marilyn and Guy have said that the week before the murder
their relationship had become very tense.
The
pair were involved in some major arguments at a number of
social engagements after which Guy seemed to be doing his
best to avoid Marilyn.
One
close friend particularly remembers overseeing this little
