One picture, taken in Brasenose Lane, captures several classic Oxford images: All Souls, the Radcliffe Camera, the university church, and a rack of bicycles. The area round the heart of the university is excellent for cycling, but on the main streets it's less civilised: Oxford's nickname as the city of dreaming spires has been adapted, to make it the city of screaming tyres.
