成人论坛 World News' premier discussion forum, The World Debate, is broadcasting听a live programme on 3 October*. This special debate, entitled 鈥淕濒辞产补濒听Financial Crisis 鈥 Can We Afford The Future?鈥, takes place in听 Istanbul听where The International Monetary Fund and World Bank听are holding their annual meeting.听听
The programme听will focus on听key questions听such as:听鈥淲hat are the prospects for a durable recovery from the crisis?听How should governments deal with huge deficits and rising levels of unemployment? How are businesses likely to contribute toward sustaining听a recovery? What will be the long term costs to us all?听
The live debate will be moderated by 成人论坛 World News' World News Today presenter, Nik Gowing, from the Anadolu Auditorium at Istanbul鈥檚 Congress Centre, and brings together a panel of leading听experts听from business, politics and academia, plus The IMF's Managing Director, Dominique Strauss Kahn.
