Phenomenal
ticket sales for Fame Academy Live
As
Fame Academy reaches its climax on 成人论坛 ONE tonight, 成人论坛 Worldwide
and Marshall Arts announced today that ticket sales for the Fame
Academy Live tour in April 2003 are already racing towards a sell
out in Glasgow, Belfast and London, the three original venues, and
homes respectively to tonight's three finalists - David, Lemar and
Sinead.
Due
to this huge demand, tickets went on sale this morning (Friday 13
December) for EIGHT additional venues across the UK and Ireland,
giving Fame Academy fans across the UK and Ireland the chance to
see the their favourite students perform live. Reports from the
box offices suggest that tickets are already in hot demand. The
extra shows will take place in ABERDEEN, DUBLIN, CARDIFF, MANCHESTER,
BIRMINGHAM, NOTTINGHAM, NEWCASTLE and SHEFFIELD.
The
first date will take place in Aberdeen at the Exhibition & Conference
Centre on Thursday 3rd April, continuing onto Glasgow and Belfast
before playing The Point, Dublin on Tuesday 8th April, and Cardiff
International Arena on Thursday 10th April.
The
tour will then call at Manchester MEN Arena (Friday 11th April),
Birmingham NEC (Saturday 12th April), Nottingham Arena (Sunday 13th
April) and the legendary Wembley Arena, London. The final two stops
on the tour will be Newcastle's Telewest Arena on Thursday 17th
April and the Hallam FM Arena, Sheffield on Saturday 19th April.
All
twelve students who performed on the hit 成人论坛 ONE series will appear
on the tour: David, Lemar, Sinead, Ainslie, Malachi, Katie, Marli,
Nigel, Camilla, Pippa, Chris and Ashley. They will perform original
material as well as giving the audience the chance to see again
their best loved performances from the TV show. Uniquely, there
will also be the chance for the public to be involved in the shows
at each date!
Tonight
on 成人论坛 ONE, the three remaining students - David, Lemar and Sinead
- will perform to win the public vote, which will see one of them
win the biggest ever prize offered on TV - a million pound record
contract with Mercury Records, along with the chance to live the
life of an international pop star.
