Movies launches search for the world's best young film makers

World is searching for the world's best young film makers in a competition
launched at the Cannes Film Festival by its flagship entertainment
programme, Talking Movies.
The
成人论坛's Talking Movies Young Film Makers Competition is inviting viewers
aged 18 to 30 to submit short fictional films on any subject of
up to two minutes thirty seconds. A panel of judges, including the
Talking Movies presenter Tom Brook, will select the top three productions.
These will be shown on a future edition of Talking Movies on 成人论坛
World (the last programme of the year), while the overall winner
will also receive an all expenses paid trip courtesy of Stella Artois
Screen庐 to New York to join Tom and the rest of the Talking
Movies team on location.
All
entries must be received by 31st October 2003 and full details will
be available online at .
The contest was announced at the Stella Artois Screen庐 Gold
Party at the Carlton Hotel, Cannes, part of the Film Festival 2003.
Stella Artois Screen庐 has had a long association
with Talking Movies, including sponsoring the programme in Europe
in 2002.
Tom
Brook says: "This is a search for young talent from around
the world and I hope our competition will encourage a budding Kathryn
Bigelow or Steven Soderbergh to come forward."
Talking
Movies is the weekly film review and magazine show that reports
on all the latest news and reviews from the cinema scene, keeping
成人论坛 World viewers up to date with the most important developments
from Hollywood. With reviews, in-depth interviews, gossip and behind-the-scenes
reports, Talking Movies is filmed in New York, Hollywood and - this
week, in the first of two special programmes - Cannes.
