04.08.03 It's
the cutting edge: The 成人论坛 available on i-vu screens in hair salons
Following
a groundbreaking deal between 成人论坛 Library Sales and interactive
media owner i-vu, 成人论坛 programming is being rolled out to hair salons
across the UK.
Via
i-vu's 6.4" interactive personal touch screens, customers in
major salons such as Trevor Sorbie and Cobella will be able to view
short programming such as Days That Shook the World, the series
that captures momentous events such as JFK's assassination, the
VE Day celebrations and Beatlemania, the 5 x 5 min Did You Know,
a compendium of knowledge and information covering a wide range
of subject matters, and the 6 x 15 min Radical Highs, featuring
some of the most unconventional and high-risk sports in the world.
Archive
material such as the 成人论坛's hit entertainment news show Liquid News
will also be available.
After
the conclusion of a three-month trial and with i-vu's nationwide
screen count increase, 成人论坛 Library Sales plans to extend the service,
enabling access to 成人论坛 programming in more salons throughout the
UK and in Europe.
"This
deal has enormous potential for 成人论坛 Library Sales" commented
Paul Maidment, Sales and Marketing Director. "It's testament
to the wide appeal of our content that we are able to distribute
it to such innovative new areas."
"Britons
spend about 拢4.1bn a year on hair and beauty, making 340m
visits to hair salons annually," states Mike Anstey, Managing
Director of i-vu ltd. "With an increasingly savvy audience,
the value of quality programming can not be underestimated. We are
extremely pleased to be working with the 成人论坛 as one of our content
providers."
Notes
to editors: 成人论坛
Worldwide licenses footage from the 成人论坛's vast archive of award
winning programming from its London HQ and through its network of
regional offices in New York, Los Angeles, Toronto, Sydney and Tokyo.
It is also the exclusive global representative for the marketing
and licensing of the CBS News archive.
