Andy
Pandy speaks out after 50 years!
聟..and Bill & Ben have something to say too聟..
From
his first television appearance on the 成人论坛's Watch with Mother over
fifty years ago, much-loved children's icon Andy Pandy and pals
Teddy and Looby Loo, have played out their charming adventures in
silence to a soundtrack of music and narration.
But
soon the cheeky little boy and his well-known playmates will speak
for the first time when they embark on a ten month UK-wide theatre
tour in February 2004. Voiced by actors in costume, Andy Pandy,
Looby Loo and Teddy will be seen performing live playing out their
adventures in the gentle world of Andy Pandy Land. The first words
Andy Pandy will utter are: "Hello everyone, my name is Andy
Pandy. Have you come to play?"
It's
not yet known if the trio will be voiced by household names, but
the search is already on to find the right voice to suit the little
boy, whose stripy jumpsuit is instantly recognisable to thousands
of fans worldwide.

The
lovable trio can be seen by fans in 10 venues across the UK (more
dates to be announced) and will share their billing with two other
children's favourites, Bill & Ben the Flowerpot Men who have
some news as well.
After
delighting children over five decades with their unique Flobbadob
language, Bill & Ben have become bi-lingual. Fans of Bill &
Ben's mad-cap lingo can learn a whole new stock of phrases from
the mischievous garden-dwellers in the Oddle Poddle language:

The
tour has been set up by 成人论坛 Worldwide Events, the same 成人论坛 department
that brought the award-winning Tweenies Live! show to arenas throughout
the UK. Four tours later and with a fifth taking place this Christmas,
nearly one million families and children have enjoyed Tweenies Live!
since Bella, Milo, Fizz, Jake and Doodles' first performance in
December 2000.
