³ÉÈËÂÛ̳ Worldwide signs new output deal with Globo

³ÉÈËÂÛ̳ Worldwide Sales and Distribution, Americas today confirmed a new three-year output deal with free to air channel, Globo, just two weeks after ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳ Showcase Latin America 2009.

The new first-look agreement sees Brazil's largest broadcaster commit to acquiring a range of programming from ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳ Worldwide's exceptional 50,000 hour catalog, until 2012.

It follows ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳ Worldwide's first three-year output deal with the broadcaster, which was signed in 2006. Breathtaking natural history titles - Yellowstone and South Pacific, lifestyle title - Louis and Michael, and programs from the world's longest running investigative TV show - Panorama, were included in the first deal.

"The partnership with the ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳ only reinforces our concern to broadcast quality content in Brazil", confirms Director General of Programming for TV Globo, Roberto Buzzoni.

Matt Forde, EVP Sales and Coproductions, ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳ Worldwide, Americas said, "The quality and depth of our catalog, combined with the strength of our relationship with Globo, paved the way for us to secure this new output deal with Brazil's largest broadcaster. Held in Rio de Janeiro, ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳ Showcase Latin America is Latin America's only television market hosted by a single distributor. ÌýThis year was the 6th anniversary of the annual event.
