Match of the Day magazine has extended its offering by becoming the first football magazine to produce a weekly podcast, with the first one going live today, Monday 9 November. The podcast download for the popular football magazine, aimed at 8-14 year olds, can now be listened to directly or downloaded via or downloaded via iTunes.

Featuring presenters 'Paz' and 'Bez' the podcast will feature exclusive interviews, funny football chants, insider rumours, gossip, jokes and a round- up of the weekend’s football action as well as regular insight from Football Focus presenter Dan Walker.

According to Match of the Day magazine publisher Jaynie Bye: "We know our readers can't get enough of Match of the Day and we're offering them another way of fuelling their passion for football and for the brand. They love to watch the show on Saturday night or Sunday morning, now they can download the podcast on a Monday after school from the website, before reading the new magazine on a Tuesday. The podcast offers the chance to listen to a great new show with yet more original content, when they want and where they want."

In the first weekly podcast there is an interview with Arsenal star Cesc Fabregas, the team look at the latest transfer rumours and Dan Walker names his top five players of all time.
