Two of the UK's biggest radio stations, 成人论坛
Radio Five Live and 成人论坛 Radio 2, are teaming up
this summer to offer radio listeners the prize of a lifetime taking
in two of the world's biggest bands - U2 and REM
- and the world's biggest tennis tournament - Wimbledon.
听
The Big Summer Ticket is a massive
competition that will run on both networks - and with a prize that takes
the winners to both the men's and ladies' finals at Wimbledon on 2 and 3 July, and the following weekend to see REM perform live in Hyde Park
before being flown to Paris to see the world famous rock band U2 at
the Stade de France.
听
On both weekends, the winners will be brought to London
by first class train travel and then transported everywhere by chauffeured
limousine.
听
For the first weekend, they will stay at the
Sanderson Hotel for three nights and will have meals at the Ritz on
Saturday night and at Gordon Ramsay at Claridges on Sunday.
听
The following weekend, the winners will spend Friday
night at the Hilton Waldorf in London and Saturday night in the Hotel
de Castiglione in Paris.
听
The competition runs on air across both networks from
Monday 13 June.
听
There will be a different question on each network
every day until Thursday.
听
Questions on Radio 2 will be about sport, and those
on Five Live will be musical.
听
On Thursday listeners will go to the website for either
Radio 2 (bbc.co.uk/radio2) or Five Live (bbc.co.uk/fivelive), depending
on which station they have answered questions from, and then one listener
from each station will be put into Monday's final.
听
On Monday 20 June, the first day of Wimbledon, Radio
2 and Five Live will be simulcast as the two finalists battle it out
to win this fabulous prize.
听
There will be live coverage of Wimbledon every day from
12.30pm on Five Live and Five Live Sports Extra - from Monday 20 June
through to the finals.
听
Radio 2 broadcasts U2 live in concert from Twickenham
on Saturday 18 June at 9.00pm, and REM live in concert from Hyde Park
on Saturday 9 July at 9.30pm.
