On Tuesday 14 June at 3.00pm, live on The Tom Morton Show on 成人论坛 Radio Scotland, Celtic Connections presenter Mary Ann Kennedy tied the knot with her fianc茅 Nick Turner at Watercolour Studios in Ardgour.

With what must be the largest listening guest list for a Scottish wedding, the Tom Morton show took the term wedding reception to its limit by broadcasting Mary Ann and Nick's vows to the nation.

The venue in Ardgour on the Arnamurchan peninsula is home to Watercolour Music - a recording studio run by Nick Turner for the past ten years, with a clientele that includes Martin Taylor, Malinky, Wolfstone and Blazin' Fiddles.
听
Since the beginning of 2004, part of the studio set-up includes a radio suite, and Mary Ann broadcasts Celtic Connections on Radio Scotland from there, live every fortnight.
听
Last year, after Tom Morton's first motorbiking radio travels, Mary Ann and Nick invited Tom to visit Ardgour on his next tour.
听
This year, Tom's tour dates coincided with their planned wedding date, so they decided to incorporate both their marriage and Tom's outside broadcast.
听
With a little help from the Highland Council and the Central Registry Office in Edinburgh, Mary Ann and Nick's wedding took place in the 'live' room of Watercolour.
听
Mary Ann's mum - singer Kenna Campbell - and radio producer Fiona Aitken were witnesses along with Nick's sons Calum and Rowan.
听
The ceremony was conducted by Mary Ann's cousin Iain MacKinnon, the registrar in Tobermory.

Mary Ann said: "Watercolour is where we met and Ardgour is one of the most beautiful places on earth. It's where we're lucky enough to live and work, so where better to celebrate than on home territory?"
