"Get in there Frank!"
Mike Tyson v Frank Bruno, unified World Heavyweight title, Las Vegas, 25 February 1989
听
Who better to commentate upon Frank Bruno's challenge to become undisputed World Heavyweight Champion than the undisputed 'voice of boxing', Harry Carpenter? Shergar wins The Derby, Epsom Downs, 26 July 1981
听

Peter Bromley provided this memorable description of an epic triumph.

"They think it's all over - it is now!"
England 4-2 West Germany, World Cup Final, Wembley Stadium, 30 July 1966
听
Arguably the most famous piece of sporting commentary of all time, Kenneth Wolstenholme must have never heard the end of it. The match at Wembley went into extra time with the score at 2-2, West Germany having equalised in the final minute. Geoff Hurst, with the help of the Soviet linesman, scored a controversial goal to make it 3-2. And then in the dying seconds, as West Germany pressed for an equaliser, Bobby Moore won the ball and found Hurst who beat the German keeper, along with some of the crowd, for his hat-trick.
