Tributes have been paid to Jonathan James-Moore, 成人论坛 Head of Radio Light Entertainment from 1991 to 1999, who has died aged 59.

Jenny Abramsky, 成人论坛 Director of Radio and Music, said: "If you ever had a meeting with Jonathan you knew it would be a laugh. He was an absolutely lovely man, terrific fun.

"I will miss seeing that huge galumphing figure with the mass of red hair wandering down the road. He was a real human being who didn't shut himself away.

"He cared about radio as a medium and was interested in all aspects of it."

The current 成人论坛 Head of Radio Entertainment, Paul Schlesinger, said: "He was a unique leader with a wonderfully unorthodox management style - a man who cared passionately about his producers and their programmes.

"As a producer he worked with John Cleese, Roy Hudd, Kenneth Williams, Frankie Howerd, Spike Milligan and like them he will remain part of this country's comedy heritage for many years to come."

Jon Plowman, 成人论坛 Head of Comedy, said:
"This is a very sad moment. Jonathan James-Moore was always a larger than life character with a real love of comedy and a very good eye for spotting new talent.

"Many of today's mainstream comedy artists passed through his hands and tutelage.

"He was a huge asset to 成人论坛 Radio and to the whole comedy community. He will be sadly missed."
